Yves-Marie Pinel teacher in design and communication at the Parisian school Estienne

and the group Glitch Fiction Nelly Ben Hayoun, David Benqué and Nicolas Myers (Studio Myers) organised a one week workshop. Design students from different school had to work on the subject “Secret Societies”. They were asked to design your own exclusive power club with its rituals and rules, goals, activities, agendas, tactics and maybe a secret handshake.

Frieze Projects East

Studio Myers worked together with the creative agency KELLENBERGER-WHITE to create a website for Frieze Projects East, commissioned by the London 2012 Festival and CREATE.

“Frieze Projects East is a series of new public art projects commissioned by the London 2012 Festival and CREATE. The series comprises six site-specific artists’ works specially commissioned for the Olympic Host Boroughs in East London: Barking and Dagenham, Greenwich, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest. ”

1 day 6 cities

Studio Myers created a website for the “1 day 6 cities” project, an exciting art project created by Daniel Alexander and Patrick Dalton.

“1DAY6CITIES is a global photography project that took place on the 11th November 2011 - 11.11.11, in London, Dubai, Shanghai, Auckland, San Francisco and São Paulo. Using word of mouth, email and social networks we put together an international team of photographers to create a unique twenty-four hour snapshot of this day across six very different cities around the globe. At exactly 00.00 Coordinated Universal Time (world time/GMT) photographers in each of these cities captured their first image in an event that saw photographs being taken every 30 seconds for the following 24 hours.”

Another project with the creative agency KELLENBERGER-WHITE. This time a website for the degree show of the talented students of the RCA. Studio Myers and KELLENBERGER-WHITE explored a fun way to display each project with some frame by frame animation. 

“The Design Interactions programme explores new roles, contexts and approaches for interaction design in relation to the social, cultural and ethical impact of existing and emerging technologies.v(…)

Graduates go on to work for multinational corporations, design consultancies, academic and industrial research labs, and increasingly, to set up their own design studios.”

Manuelle Gautrand Architecture

New site Live! Studio Myers team up with the creative agency gr20paris to create a website for the French architects Manuelle Gautrand Architecture. 

Bus-Tops

Art Public asked Studio Myers to design the Bus Tops website.

“Bus-Tops is a collaborative public art installation across 20 London boroughs. There are 30 red and black LED screens dotted around London, on the roofs of bus shelters. Absolutely anyone in the world can create artwork for them, creating a new exhibition space for the public, and Public Art. To get started creating have a look at the FAQ.

The Bus-Tops project is one of 12 commissions across the UK forming part of Artists Taking the Lead, a programme funded by Arts Council England for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad..”

Le Blue Note

For the French nightclub “Le Blue Note” Studio Myers creates a website and an optimised version for iphone. Allowing the user to see the latest photos, videos and check the upcoming parties.
