Studio Myers designed a new minimalistic website for the artist Pedro Baztan. Presenting a selection of his recent paintings.
"Pedro started out in photography, portraying post-industrial and decaying landscapes. He then went on to train formally at Camberwell College and Middlesex University, and this course of study included an exchange with the Prague School of Photography and Cinema (FAMU). He then began increasingly to experiment with painting, which has become his main medium over the past few years.
Pedro’s work is about composing narratives, both familiar and intriguing. His paintings are eerie and atmospheric and stem from his interest in finding, exploring, collecting and transforming different spaces.
